Indahouse Trick Champion (TrCh)

To Earn you Indahouse Trick Champion, includes a certificate and rosette

Obtain all standard DMWYD titles in:

• Novice Amateur

• Intermediate Amateur

• Advanced Amateur

• Expert Amateur

Demonstrate the skills set out in the criteria below. If you have already obtained your Trick Dog Champion Title with DMWYD then the tricks can be used for this award if it meets the criteria.

Rules:

CUES: The handler may give 4 cues per trick unless specifically specified. Praise and

encouragement at any time is fine.

TREATS: Treats and toys may be used as a reward after the trick is finished, but may not be used to lure the dog into the behaviour. Keep treats/ toys hidden from the dog, in a pocket

or treat bag, during the trick.

QUALIFYING: Applicant has 3 months to resubmit any portion of the test that did not

qualify, at no additional cost. Application fee will not be refunded.

Indahouse Trick Champion Criteria

Please show the following in your video

1. Coordination (choose one from the following)

a. Double Balance Beam

b. Skateboard (either 2 or 4 feet)

c. Push a shopping cart

d. Barrel roll (2 feet)

e. Back up (5 feet)

2. Mouth Target (Choose one from the following)

a. Hold for 10 seconds

b. Retrieve to hand (from 12 feet away)

c. Pull a rope (pull to open door or pull a wagon)

d. (substitution) Show an extra advance or above trick not already used as part of your submission

3. Paw Target (choose one)

a. Ring a bell/ Turn on a light

b. Give a paw

4. Nose Target (choose one)

a. Target stick/ disc

b. Open a door or crate using the nose

c. Nose push a ball 5 feet

5. Scent

a. Shell game (performed twice in a row)

6. Obedience (choose one)

a. Side

b. Place

c. Loose Lead Walking

7. Agility (Choose one)

a. Bar Jump

b. Hoop Jump

c. A Frame

d. Weaves

8. Signals

a. Perform 6 behaviours using only silent cues

9. Advance Tricks

a. Demonstrate 5 of your best advance tricks

10. Expert Tricks

a. Demonstrate 5 of your best expert tricks.
