Junior Trick Champion (JunTrCh)

The is the Trick Dog Indahouse version of the DMWYD Champion Title, designed and introduced from 1st April 2022.

To Earn you Indahouse Junior Trick Champion

Obtain:

• Beginner Junior Trick Dog

• Expert Junior Trick Dog

Demonstrate the skills set out in the criteria below.

Rules:

CUES: The handler may give multiple cues per trick. Praise and encouragement at any time is fine.

TREATS: Treats and toys may be used as a reward, but may not be used to lure the dog into the behaviour.

QUALIFYING: Applicant has 3 months to resubmit any portion of the test that did not qualify, at no additional cost. Application fee will not be refunded.

a. Double Balance Beam

b. Back up (5 feet)

c. Cavetti

d. Rainbow Ladder

2. Mouth Target

a. Retrieve to hand (from 6 feet away)

3. Nose Target (choose one)

a. Target stick/ disc

b. Open a door or crate using the nose

c. Nose push a ball 5 feet

4. Obedience (choose one)

a. Side

b. Place

c. Loose Lead Walking

d. Stay 10 seconds 6 feet away

5. Agility (Choose one)

a. Bar Jump

b. Hoop Jump

c. A Frame

d. Weaves

6. Advance Trick

a. Demonstrate your best advance trick

7. Expert Trick

a. Demonstrate your best expert trick.
